Is it necessary to book the entrance to the museums in advance?
.... No it is not, but we strongly recommend that you do so for the Uffizzi Gallery and for Galleria dell'Accademia, in order to avoid long queues during peak seasons such as March or October.
Our staff at Hotel Axial will be more than happy to help you booking the entrance to these museums, although we advise to to let us know well in advance and to be open to accept a flexible timetable.
If you did not plan the visits beforehand you can always go at the "Florence Museums" office in Via Calzaiuoli near Orsanmichele, there you can buy the tickets.
If you do not have the tickets we recommend to visit the museums either at lunchtime or around 17:00.
What are the opening times of Uffizzi, Accademia, Bargello and Pitti?
...Galleria degli Uffizi: Tuesday till Sunday, ore 8.15 - 18.50;
closed on Mondays, New Year, 1st of May, Christmas.
Galleria dell'Accademia: Tuesday till Sunday, ore 8.15 - 18.50;
closed on Mondays, New Year, 1st of May, Christmas.
Galleria Palatina - Palazzo Pitti : Tuesday till Sunday, 08.30-18.50, (Summer time 08,30-21,00);
closed on Mondays.
Museo Nazionale del Bargello: Monday till Sunday 08.30-13.50;
closed: 2nd and 4th Monday in the month, and 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday of the month.

Can you recommend some typical restaurants?
.... Of course we can! There are a lot of restaurants in the center of Florence, ranging from the typical Tuscan style restaurants to the modern Fusion cusine ones.
We will be more than happy to book the tables for you generally speaking lunch is served from 12.00 till 14.00, while dinner goes from 19.00 till 22.15.
Is there a City sightseeing bus in Florence?
.... Yes. Also in Florence it is possible to cruise the city on the open deck City sightseeing buses. You can buy the tickets and get all the necessary information at the reception in the hotel.
Is it possible to book a transfer to the Gucci Outlet, Prada, The Mall Designer Outlet and to the McArthur Glen Outlet in Barberino?
.... Yes, we can give you all the help and information necessary to organize a visit to these famous Outlets. We advise to organize the transfers in advance as all these places are around fifty kilometers away from the centre of Florence.
How can I check availability of train tickets, timetables and routes of the train services?
